RedPort Hotspot - SailCom Marine
Features and Specs The RedPort Halo system combines the
most powerful long-range Wi-Fi extender on the market with the popular RedPort
Optimizer Wi-Fi Hotspot. Using these two together gives you a total package of
Wi-Fi connectivity.
-
Long-Range Wi-Fi Extender
It is a common problem: you are berthed in a marina and
while there is free (or cheap) Wi-Fi available, it does not extend past the
front door of the office. Setting up the RedPort Long-Range Wi-Fi Extender on
your yacht means that you can capture the marina Wi-Fi signal and use it on
your yacht.
-
Optimizer Local Hub
Optimizer takes that Wi-Fi internet connection and
rebroadcasts it around your yacht as a local hotspot, so you can use the marina
Wi-Fi from the comfort of your own yacht without having to go ashore.
-
NMEA Compatible
RedPort Optimizer works as a NMEA repeater to broadcast
your NMEA data (GPS location, AIS, weather data) to your navigational software
on your smartphones, tablets, or computers.
-
Satellite Phone Compatible RedPort Optimizer
seamlessly works with all current satellite phones and terminals.
